This is an opportunity to join the Norse UK management team in a key leadership role as Nominated Person Flight Operations reporting to the Accountable Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all UK flight operational activity, this includes both flight & cabin crew along with the shared service support function provided by our shared services pool in Riga.
The successful candidate will have impeccable leadership skills, along with both strong regulatory & operational knowledge and a good understanding of the safety management system.
The role is primarily office based and will require both regular office attendance and cross functional working with other key functions within the companies operational structure, along with regular communication and alignment with our sister AOC and it's NPFO.

Responsibilities and Duties
OM-A 1.2.1,
NPFO ensures that:
1. Norse Atlantic maintains a system of operational control of every flight operated under the terms of the AOC;
2. Norse Atlantic fulfils its responsibilities for flight and duty limitations, rest requirements and fatigue management of crew members according to OM-A 7.1.4.1.
3. Parts A, B and C of the OM and the MEL:
a. include necessary procedures, instructions and guidance for operational personnel to perform their duties;
b. ensuring continued compliance with all applicable requirements relating to the specific area of the organisation and not
contravene the AOC or operations specifications;
c. are kept up to date;
4. The CAA is informed of all changes to parts A, B and C of the OM before their effective date;
5. Any change to the MEL and changes to parts A, B and C of the OM that require the prior approval of the CAA are not implemented until such approval has been received;
6. Any contracted organisation conducting activities for which NPFO is responsible:
a. has the resources and competence to undertake the activity;
b. has any authorisation or approval required.
7. Hazards relating to flight operations are identified, the related safety risks assessed, and mitigation measures are taken when appropriate to ensure that operations achieve the intended level of safety.
Demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and interacting with crew unions, the UK CAA and third parties as applicable.
Any other tasks/duties as required by the management system and/or Accountable Manager.
Required qualifications and certifications
In addition to the requirements of OM-A 1.2.1, NPFO must hold, or have held, an ATPL and type rating for an aircraft type operated by Norse Atlantic;
Required experience
Ideally the successful candidate with have held a nominated role in an AOC before, however Norse will consider candidates with previous operational management experience and/or a suitable background accompanied by a strong wiliness to learn and adopt to the requirements of the role.
