Cabin Crew FAQ

The training as a cabin crew is very comprehensive and at the same time a lot of fun. In a short period of time you will learn about dangerous goods, emergency procedures, the aircraft we are flying and much more. You will be in the good hands of Norse instructors that will guide you during your studies.

The course length varies between 3 and 5 weeks depending on whether you have previous experience as cabin crew or not.

Unfortunately, shoes are not provided by the company.

Yes, you will receive basic and variable salary.

You can expect your training to take place at your home base.

No, this cost must be covered by the employee.

Yes, the company will pay for hotel room, airline tickets and transport to/from training facilities when out of base

If you already hold a valid US C-1/D VISA, it is approved, as long as you have minimum 6 months remaining.

The requirement to start in Norse Atlantic Airways, is to hold a valid medical. If you do not hold a valid medical, it must be renewed at your own expense. If your medical expires after you have started your training, the renewal will be reimbursed by the company.

If working for the UK AOC, you need a UK medial. If working for the Norwegian AOC, you need a EASA medical. If based in the US, our team will help you.

You need to visit a UK-approved AME (Aero Medical Examiner) to obtain a UK medical. Lists of approved AMEĀ“s can usually be found by contacting the CAA (Civil Aviation Authorities).
