What will we do during the OCC-course?
The training as a cabin crew is very comprehensive and at the same time a lot of fun. In a short period of time you will learn about dangerous goods, emergency procedures, the aircraft we are flying and much more. You will be in the good hands of Norse instructors that will guide you during your studies.

How long is the OCC course?
The course length varies between 3 and 5 weeks depending on whether you have previous experience as cabin crew or not. -
Will the uniform be provided for free?
Yes. -
Will the company provide uniform shoes for free?
Unfortunately, shoes are not provided by the company. -
Will I receive salary during training?
Yes, you will receive basic and variable salary. -
Where will the training take place.
You can expect your training to take place at your home base. -
Will the company reimburse any travel to and from the training at home base?
No, this cost must be covered by the employee.

Will the company pay per diem when out of base during training?
Yes. -
Will the company pay for accommodation when being out of base during training?
Yes, the company will pay for hotel room, airline tickets and transport to/from training facilities when out of base -
I already hold a US visa from a previous employer. Do I need to obtain a new visa?
If you already hold a valid US C-1/D VISA, it is approved, as long as you have minimum 6 months remaining.

My medical has expired. Does the company reimburse expenses for renewal?
The requirement to start in Norse Atlantic Airways, is to hold a valid medical. If you do not hold a valid medical, it must be renewed at your own expense. If your medical expires after you have started your training, the renewal will be reimbursed by the company. -
There is no available appointment at the US Embassy before 3 months from now. What should I do?

Do I need a EASA or UK medical.
If working for the UK AOC, you need a UK medial. If working for the Norwegian AOC, you need a EASA medical. If based in the US, our team will help you. -
If based in the UK, which doctor should I visit to renew my medical?
You need to visit a UK-approved AME (Aero Medical Examiner) to obtain a UK medical. Lists of approved AME´s can usually be found by contacting the CAA (Civil Aviation Authorities).

What is the minimum age to apply for a position as cabin crew with Norse Atlantic Airways?
We have a minimum age requirement of 20 years of age. -
Can I contact Norse regarding my application?
We are unfortunately not able to answer any questions. If, you haven't heard anything from us, assume that your application is still valid. -
How is the roster like?
Your schedule for the next month will be published 14 days before. You can expect a combination of days off, standbys and flights.
