About the role:

In this role, you’ll provide vital support to the People department, assisting with HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, record-keeping, and office management. Your positive attitude and “can-do” mindset will be essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and helping us foster a welcoming, organized, and efficient workplace for everyone.

*Please note that this is a project-based, temporary position with a duration of one year, with the possibility of being prolonged
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication;
- Maintain and update employee records in HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality;
- Support new hire onboarding and orientation programs;
- Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries;
- Process and maintain HR documentation, such as employment contracts, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions;
- Help organize training sessions, workshops, and employee engagement activities.;
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures;
Assist in payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping information;
Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies; - Provide general administrative support, including document preparation, filing, and correspondence;
- Organize business trips, including booking travel accommodations (flights, hotels), coordinating related communications, and ensuring all necessary travel documentation is in place;
- Order and maintain all office essentials;
- Assist in establishing and maintaining a pleasant, functional workspace in the new office, ensuring efficient and comfortable work environment.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Education: Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an HR role or administrative support (entry-level candidates with relevant internships are welcome to apply).
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with international colleagues;
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Familiarity with HR software or databases is a plus;
- Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices;
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- High level of attention to detail.
