As IT Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of ensuring our IT services are delivered efficiently, and with high levels of user satisfaction. You will play an essential role in leading our IT team in areas of Microsoft technologies, IT infrastructure, security, and more.
The IT Operation Manager is crucial to our daily IT operations, and the role will include working on new projects, daily running business and firefighting. Due to the importance of having IT systems up and always running, you must expect some work outside of normal working hours.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Norse IT Support team;
- Overseeing the delivery of IT services, ensuring adherence to SLAs across vendors;
- Developing and implementing IT service management strategies and procedures;
- Hands-on involvement with Microsoft technologies, including Office 365, Azure, and Entra;
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, providing guidance to the team;
- Ensuring the security of IT systems by leading security initiatives and working closely with our security partners;
- Managing the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems;
- Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous service improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive IT professional with a strong technical background and hands-on experience, particularly in the Microsoft stack. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a knack for managing IT operations with an eye for continuous improvement, you could be the perfect fit for this role.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- A strong technical background with hands-on experience in Microsoft technologies;
- Proven experience in IT service management and operations;
- Experience managing IT security principles, and working with security partners;
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to guide teams through complex technical issues;
- ITIL Foundation certification is desirable;
- Microsoft Certifications are required.
