Ready to kick off your IT career in a fast-growing, international company that's literally taking off?
Norse Atlantic Airways is a low-fare, long-haul airline headquartered in Norway, transforming intercontinental travel with affordability and convenience. We connect bucket-list destinations in the United States, including New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, and Orlando to key cities across Europe.
Founded in 2021, we are an ambitious, and fast-growing company in the aviation industry, driven by a commitment to innovation and excellence.
About the role:
We’re looking for a Junior IT Support Specialist to join our team in Riga. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career who’s passionate about tech, loves solving problems, and wants to grow fast in a global environment.
You'll be the friendly face (and voice) of IT support for our local and international teams, helping with everything from setting up laptops to fixing software glitches, always keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a full-time, office-based role where you’ll learn a lot, work with great people, and get a front-row seat to how tech supports a global airline.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Keeping an eye on our Helpdesk system and making sure all incoming issues are logged and followed up;
- Jumping in to provide first-line technical support for team members, whether it's a password reset or helping set up their devices;
- Following IT best practices (we use an ITIL-based approach, don't worry, we’ll teach you);
- Setting up and maintaining hardware, software, and mobile devices across the company;
- Helping new colleagues get onboarded with the right gear and access;
- Working with our wider team to support airport equipment and point-of-sale (POS) systems;
- Staying friendly, calm, and focused – even when things get a little hectic.
What We’re Looking For:
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal;
- Curious and proactive personality, with a hands-on attitude. A strong communicator who enjoys helping others;
- Understanding the components of a computer (e.g., CPU, RAM, storage) and how they work together;
- Understand network fundamentals and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, with a strong eagerness to learn and expand your knowledge;
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux, including installation, setup, and basic troubleshooting.
What’s nice to have:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field;
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft 365 Admin and Microsoft Entra ID is a bonus;
- IT certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Fundamentals.
Company offers:
- The sky is the limit - growth opportunity in a dynamic aviation industry;
- Monthly salary ranging from 1200 to 1500 EUR (Gross), based on candidate experience;
- Explore the world with exclusive travel privileges to all Norse destinations, plus discounted tickets with our partner airlines;
- Premium health insurance provided after the probation period;
- Gym and wellness benefit, with co-payment for sports activities after the probation period;
- Modern office in the city center - Novira Plaza;
