Are you passionate about aviation and love to make the complex simple?
Norse Atlantic Airways is a low-fare, long-haul airline headquartered in Norway, transforming intercontinental travel with affordability and convenience. We connect bucket-list destinations in the United States, including New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, and Orlando to key cities across Europe. We also connect travelers to remarkable locations like Cape Town and Bangkok.
Founded in 2021, we are an ambitious, and fast-growing company in the aviation industry, driven by a commitment to innovation and excellence.
We are looking for a sharp, smart, and curious individual, a Flight Operations Administrator, who lives and breathes aviation, knows that the Earth rotates (and why that matters for a 787 flight plan), and understands the behind-the-scenes work that keeps flight operations running smoothly.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that our internal documentation is accurate, useful, and up to date, not just made to exist, but made to make sense. You’ll be the go-to person for regulations, document management, and operational clarity across the department.
We’re looking for someone ready to hit the ground running, so experience in aviation is essential.
This full-time, office-based role offers the opportunity to work alongside talented colleagues and gain firsthand insight of a global airline.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and manage the Flight Operations Library;
- Keep track of regulatory changes and flag them to the team;
- Record and check post-flight documentation;
- Prepare and update the Flight Operations Manual suite;
- Draft and manage Crew Notices, policies, and internal documentation;
- Maintain airport categorization database;
- Keep minutes of Flight Operations Oversight Meetings;
- Administer day-to-day functions and support the NPFO as needed;
- Develop and maintain internal safety and compliance documentation;
- Own and update departmental checklists, risk registers, and risk assessments;
- Conduct risk assessments on airports and routes;
- Cooperate with NPFO, Fleet office, OCC and Flight Support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong aviation background – ideally with experience in Flight Support, Dispatch, Piloting or Flight Operations Administration or Safety Department;
- Experience working with regulations (EASA OPS), manuals (OM-A/B/C), and documentation (FCOM/MEL);
- Experience with basic flight planning and route and airport assessments;
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and digital tools like Centrik/Web Manuals;
- Excellent written and verbal English;
- Great communication skills – someone who can make the complex simple;
- Detail-focused, organized, and someone who takes pride in getting it right;
- Passion about aviation, documents, structure, and continuous improvement.
What we offer:
- The sky is the limit growth opportunity in dynamic aviation industry;
- Monthly salary ranging from 2500 to 3500 EUR (Gross), based on candidate experience;
- Explore the world with exclusive travel privileges to all Norse destinations, plus discounted tickets with our partner airlines;
- Premium health insurance provided after the probation period;
- Gym and wellness benefit, with co-payment for sports activities after the probation period;
