Are you passionate about aviation safety and regulatory compliance? As a Compliance Monitoring Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring Norse Atlantic’s Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) and Air Operations meet all applicable regulatory requirements. Your expertise will support the safety, compliance, and continuous improvement of our management systems through structured audits and professional evaluations.
This is a full-time, office-based role located in Riga, offering you the opportunity to travel internationally as part of your responsibilities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Audit Planning and Execution
• Conduct audits in line with the Compliance Monitoring System (CMS), based on UK CAA / EASA and internal standards;
• Monitor compliance with UK CAA, EASA, and ICAO regulations, particularly Part-CAMO, Part-M, Air OPS;
• Perform objective assessments of organizational procedures and practices.
Audit Findings and Reporting
• Identify, document, and substantiate audit findings and observations with supporting evidence;
• Issue NAA 003 (Response to audit findings) and NAA 004 (Root cause analysis methodology).
Corrective Actions and Follow-Up
• Ensure findings are accompanied by root cause analysis (5-WHY methodology), correction, and corrective action plan;
• Review submitted responses and manage resolution follow-up.
Management System Support
• Assist in the development of compliance policies and monitoring procedures;
• Maintain up-to-date records of audits, findings, and compliance actions;
• Promote a proactive safety and compliance culture throughout the organization.
What we're looking for:
We are seeking a detail-oriented auditor with strong regulatory knowledge and a passion for maintaining aviation safety standards. You should be proactive, analytical, and skilled at building collaborative relationships while maintaining audit independence.
Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time;
- Right to live and work without sponsorship; able to travel on short notice across regions including the EU, EFTA, UK, USA, South Africa, and Thailand.
Qualifications & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of UK CAA and/or EASA regulations (Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145, Air OPS), plus ICAO standards;
- Certified internal/external auditor; skilled in ISO 9001 and aviation compliance audits;
- Strong root cause analysis skills (5 WHY method);
- Proficient with compliance tools (e.g., Centrik, Q-Pulse, IQSMS);
- Understanding of complex aircraft (ideally B787), airworthiness, and ops requirements.
Experience
- Background in CAMO, Operations, or MRO in Commercial Air Transport.
- Auditing experience under UK CAA and/or EASA.
- Confident using audit and compliance management systems.
