As a Maintenance Operations Coordinator, you will be the technical focal point of our operations, providing support for maintenance activities and reliability. It includes controlling the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft fleet by closely monitoring all maintenance activities on a day- to-day basis. You’ll work closely with flight operations, line maintenance, engineering, and external providers to resolve technical issues and minimize operational disruptions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitoring of aircraft maintenance status, MEL, CDL and aircraft defects
- Monitoring compliance with approved data
- Monitoring of Flight Data Monitoring reports
- Monitoring of incidents in flight and/or - during maintenance
- Liaise with Ground Operations, Flight Support, CAMO and contracted MROs.
- Handling of AOG’s
- Coordinate maintenance activities with contracted MROs
- Coordinate with Norse operations control center on traffic execution and maintenance deviations
Required qualifications and certifications
- B787 EASA Part-66 License (B1/B2) or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- Ability to work in a team, respect for your colleagues and good collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of Boeing 787 systems and long-haul operations.
- A valid work permit for Norway.
- High motivation
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Proficient in AMOS or similar maintenance management systems.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, 24/7 shift environment.
Required experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in MCC, line maintenance, or technical operations.
- CAMO planning operations experience
- Experience with AHM and Boeing operation systems related to 787
