At Norse Atlantic Airways, we’re looking for a People Operations Assistant
who embodies kindness, ownership, and inclusivity.
This role is perfect for someone who loves to organize, pays attention to details, and enjoys creating happiness for others, whether by supporting smooth onboarding, keeping the office welcoming, or adding thoughtful touches like a waffle morning for colleagues.
You don’t need HR experience - this is an entry-level role for someone eager to grow in HR. What matters is your positive attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine care for people. You’ll gain hands-on experience across HR operations while helping us build an exceptional workplace.
This is a full-time, office-based role, offering the chance to work alongside talented colleagues and see firsthand how People Operations supports a global airline.
Your responsibilities will include:
Office Support - 25%
- Create and organize office events, from small moments like waffle mornings or grilled sandwich breaks with colleagues to larger gatherings such as summer parties and Christmas celebrations;
- Order and maintain office essentials, including snacks, fruits, and supplies;
- Ensure a pleasant, functional, and tidy workspace, fostering a comfortable and inspiring office environment;
- Coordinate office maintenance and practical matters (coffee machines, furniture, etc.).
People Operations Support - 75%
- Support onboarding and orientation for new hires;
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality;
- Process and maintain HR documentation - employee files: mandatory health and employment documentation;
- Help organize training sessions, workshops, and employee engagement activities;
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures;
- Provide general administrative support, including document preparation, filing, and correspondence.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Education: Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Experience: Eagerness to learn and grow in the HR field, previous HR or office admin experience is a plus, but not required.
Skills & Competencies:
- Genuine interest in people and in building a positive, supportive workplace;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time;
- Proactive, service-minded personality who enjoys making the work environment pleasant and engaging for colleagues;
- Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with international teams;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and a collaborative mindset.
