Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated by protecting business revenue in a fast-paced environment?
We are looking for a Revenue Protection Agent to support Norse’s efforts in identifying, investigating, and mitigating fraudulent activities and chargebacks. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from various departments to safeguard financial transactions, strengthen fraud prevention measures, and help ensure accurate and fair revenue processes across the airline.
This is a full-time, office-based role located in Riga, Latvia, with a temporary contract for 6-months.
Your responsibilities will include:
Fraud Detection and Prevention:
Monitor and analyze booking and payment transactions to identify suspicious activities and potential fraud;
Investigate and resolve fraud cases, including unauthorized transactions and account or booking takeovers;
Implement and maintain 3rd party fraud detection systems;
Be the primary point of contact for 3rd party fraud system providers.
Chargeback Management:
Handle chargeback disputes from all payment acquirers and represent the airline in chargeback cases;
Gather and submit necessary documentation to support chargeback disputes;
Analyze chargeback trends and develop strategies to reduce chargeback rates.
Revenue Protection:
Conduct audits and reviews of financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies;
Collaborate with finance team colleagues to identify revenue leakage and implement corrective measures;
Develop and maintain reports on fraud and chargeback activities.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work with customer service, airport, finance, and legal teams to address fraud and chargeback issues;
Provide training and support to staff on fraud prevention and chargeback processes;
Communicate effectively with external partners, including banks and payment processors.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in fraud detection, chargeback management, or revenue protection, preferably in the airline industry;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Proficiency in using fraud detection tools and software;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy;
Fluency in spoken and written English, required as it is the primary language used for communication within the international teams.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with airline reservation and ticketing systems;
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards;
Knowledge of one or more industry fraud management system.
