We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for employees across the organization, providing timely and high-quality technical support for desktop hardware, software, and mobile devices. You will play an important role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by combining strong technical expertise with a customer-focused mindset.
This position requires the ability to prioritize multiple requests, respond quickly in a dynamic environment, and collaborate with colleagues across global operations. You will be part of a supportive IT team delivering reliable support to Norse teams worldwide.
This is a full-time, office-based role located in Riga, Latvia.
Your main responsibilities and duties:
Monitor the Helpdesk system for inbound issues and ensure all issues are logged and documented;
Provide end-user computing support using an ITIL-based Service Desk approach;
Adhere to and enforce all information security protocols;
Communicate effectively, integrate well with all levels of staff, and work independently;
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and mobile device issues in a timely and professional manner;
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software across the organization;
Support Airport equipment and POS devices.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in an IT support role will be considered an advantage;
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Admin, including user account administration;
Experience with remote access tools and VPN configuration and administration;
Strong experience in deploying, administering, and supporting Windows. MacOS, and iOS platforms is nice to have;
Ability to set up and support mobile devices and desktop systems;
Experience working with the Microsoft 365 cloud environment;
Familiarity with supporting key enterprise applications;
Basic networking skills, including troubleshooting network-related issues;
Ability to remain focused, professional, and flexible while managing multiple tasks and requests;
Fluency in spoken and written English for communication with colleagues and cooperation partners outside of Latvia.
