Do you want to play a key role in maintaining strong aviation security standards across a global operation?
As a Security Officer, you will support security oversight across Norse’s worldwide operations, working closely with colleagues and external partners to help ensure our operations remain safe, secure, and compliant in an ever-changing environment.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced aviation security professional who is eager to further develop their expertise, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and enjoys working as part of an international team while contributing to high operational standards.
This is a full-time, office-based role located in Riga, Latvia.
Responsibilities and duties:
Conducting security assessments and investigations within the SeMS and ISMS;
Maintaining overview of data retrieved from Norse Management Systems and reports from external providers;
Performing administrative tasks on behalf of the Security Departments;
Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments;
Participate in required training and continuous professional development.
What we’re looking for:
Relevant previous Aviation and/or Security experience;
Recognized security certifications or qualifications are desired;
No remarks on any Criminal Record Certificates;*
Knowledge of investigation processes and reporting of outcomes;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
A proactive security mindset;
Experience using M365 suite, and other software tools such as Centrik, IQSMS, Qpulse, or equivalent;
Fluency in spoken and written English for communication with colleagues and cooperation partners outside of Latvia.
