Compliance Monitoring Manager NO

The “CMM-NO” reports directly to the Accountable Manager and is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Compliance Monitoring Program in Norse Norway. The “CMM-NO” is the focal point for all Compliance monitoring and auditing functions in Norse. Including being responsible for the development, administration and maintenance of the compliance program. The CMM shall have access to all Company operational departments, documentation, programs and procedures relevant to the Norse operations in order to fulfil their responsibilities and duties. Normal lines of communication are towards the Accountable Manager, Nominated Persons (NPs), and all assigned functions. The “CMM-NO” works in close collaboration with the Accountable Manager/Chief Operating Officer and will support both the Operations Management Team and Executive Management Team as required.
Responsibilities and Duties
The CMM reports directly to the Accountable Manager and is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Compliance Monitoring Program for the following Certificates:
• NO.AOC.093
• NO.CAMO.0059
• NO.145.0155
The CMM has the following specific responsibilities and duties:
• Ensuring that Company activities remain in compliance with the applicable regulation and requirements
• Conducting audits to monitor conformance with procedures laid down in the Company Operations Manuals and report any nonconformance to the Accountable Manager
• Establishing procedures for dealing with non-conformities, monitoring non-conformity reports and taking corrective/preventive action in response to audit findings
• Ensuring that non-conformity reports are reviewed, managed and responded to in the required time frames and to the required standard
• Oversight and Management of the Compliance Section on the Company Centrik system
• Keep the Compliance Management Manual updated
• The responsibilities contained within the CAME manual Part 0 Section 0.3.2.5
• Carry out the competency assessment of the Nominated Persons
• Will have access to all parts of the organization and any contracted service provider
• Keep the Management System Manual updated
The CMM shall have access to all Company operational departments, documentation, programs and procedures relevant to Company operations in order to fulfil their responsibilities and duties listed above.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
Specifications directly from Luftfartstilsynet Norway (CAA-N) AIC-N 02/17 26JAN 5+ years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position. 3+ years practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices and comprehensive knowledge of:
• the applicable EU safety regulations and any associated requirements and procedures.
• the AOC holder's operations specifications.
• and the need for, and content of, the relevant parts of the AOC holder's operations manual.
• familiarity with management systems preferably in the area of aviation
• appropriate management experience, preferably in a comparable organization Regulations
• Regulation 965/2012, Part ORO and AMC and GM (including ORO.GEN.200 and AMC1 ORO.GEN.200 (a) (6).
• Regulation 1321/2014, Part M, M.A. 706.

• standards for risk assessment 2.The Company's Operations Manual / Handbooks; -in addition, the candidate must be able to account for:
• the company's security policy
• the company's organizational structure and general responsibilities relationship and connection between the various manuals
• operational regulations and responsibilities of operational personnel
• the company's management system for the operational activities
• the company's management system including safety management and compliance monitoring
• compliance monitoring, included:
a) The manual system
b) Associated procedures
c) Auditing technique, reporting, registration and follow-up
• the company's various types of operations The candidate must document relevant training in:
• compliance monitoring alternatively:
• quality management system The documentation requirement does not apply to candidates who have previously been approved as quality manager in airlines.
NORSE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
The minimum requirements and experience:
1. Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices
2. Extensive experience from operations like Norse Atlantic AS
3. Extensive relevant work experience of which at least 5 years should be from an AOC Management position
4. Advanced SMS Training
5. Comprehensive knowledge of: (i) the applicable EU safety regulations and any associated requirements and procedures (ii) the AOC holder's operations specifications; and (iii) the need for, and content of, the relevant parts of the AOC holder's operations manual (iiii) ICAO Annex 19, Safety Management
