As Safety Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of this. You'll lead by example and serve as a genuine ambassador for safety. Supporting our Safety Managers and Safety Officers across Norway and UK AOC operations, you'll keep the administrative engine running so the team can focus on what they do best: keeping Norse - and the people who make it fly - safe.
Responsibilities and duties:
Responsibilities and duties for Safety Coordinator include, but not be limited to, the following:
Lead daily presentation of safety reports;
Process safety reports including update of MORs within ECCAIRS platform;
Support to Safety Managers and Safety Officers in continuous Safety Management System improvement;
Review and maintain safety department documentation;
Preparing and maintaining regular safety reports;
Lead safety promotion activities;
Liaising with stakeholders across departments.
Required qualifications and certifications:
Minimum 1 year experience within Safety Management Systems in Aviation environment;
Knowledge of SMS EASA requirements;
Knowledge and understanding of Safety Management Systems;
Knowledge and understanding of Just Culture principles;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Computer skills and ability to use common office software (Excel & PowerPoint required and Power BI not required, but beneficial);
Excellent written and verbal English.
