We're looking for a Compliance Monitoring Auditor to join our Compliance Monitoring team in Riga, Latvia. In this role, you'll safeguard the ongoing compliance of Norse Atlantic's Air Operating Certificate (AOC) and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) with all applicable regulatory requirements, internal procedures, and best industry practices.
You'll play a key role in supporting the safety, compliance, and effectiveness of our management system through structured audits, objective evaluations, and process improvement recommendations.
This permanent, full-time role combines full time office-based work in Riga with international travel - approximately 60% of your time - auditing operations across our network, offering the opportunity to work alongside driven colleagues and see firsthand how strong compliance underpins the success of a global airline.
What You'll Be Doing:
Conducting scheduled and unscheduled audits in line with the Compliance Monitoring System (CMS), based on UK CAA / EASA and internal standards;
Monitoring compliance with UK CAA, EASA, and ICAO regulations, particularly Part-CAMO, Part-M, and Air OPS;
Completing allocated audits within the defined schedule, raising risk assessments where audits must be rescheduled;
Performing objective assessments of organizational procedures and practices for compliance, adequacy, and effectiveness;
Identifying, documenting, and substantiating audit findings and observations with supporting evidence;
Conducting closing meetings to verify findings, agree on response timelines, and provide guidance on follow-up;
Ensuring each finding is accompanied by a comprehensive root cause analysis (5-WHY methodology), correction, and corrective action plan;
Reviewing submitted responses, recommending acceptance of corrective actions, and managing resolution follow-up;
Maintaining up-to-date records of audits, findings, and compliance actions in the Centrik system;
Assisting in the development and continuous improvement of compliance policies and monitoring procedures;
Promoting a proactive safety and compliance culture throughout the organization.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years in CAMO and/or Operations within a Commercial Air Transport and/or MRO environment;
Proven experience conducting audits under UK CAA and/or EASA regulations;
Strong understanding of UK CAA and/or EASA regulations (Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145, Air OPS) and ICAO guidelines;
Certified internal/external auditor with proficiency in ISO 9001-based auditing and aviation-specific compliance frameworks;
Competence using compliance management tools such as Centrik, Q-Pulse, IQSMS or similar;
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - ability to interpret data, assess procedural effectiveness, and identify system-level risks;
Excellent communication skills - ability to deliver findings constructively and explain complex regulations clearly;
Meticulous attention to detail, professional integrity, and an independent auditing stance combined with a collaborative approach;
Availability to travel 60% of the time, including potential short-notice site visits (destinations include, but are not limited to: EU-27 + EFTA, UK, USA, South Africa, Thailand);
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
