We connect bucket-list destinations in the United States, including New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, and Orlando to key cities across Europe. We also connect travelers to remarkable locations like Cape Town and Bangkok.
Founded in 2021, we are an ambitious, and fast-growing company in the aviation industry, driven by a commitment to innovation and excellence.
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Crew Resources team in Riga, taking ownership of the data, reporting, and optimisation work that keeps our crew rostering process running reliably. You'll work with Python, SQL, and Power BI daily, and get hands-on exposure to Operations Research and mathematical optimisation in a live airline environment - supporting the monthly crew roster generation process from data preparation through to output analysis.
This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role in Riga office.
What you'll be doing:
Extract, clean, transform, and validate data from databases, APIs, data warehouses, and operational systems using SQL and Python;
Develop, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards and reports, working with Power Query, data modelling, and DAX;
Own recurring data preparation, validation, and reporting processes, and drive their automation;
Actively participate in the monthly crew roster generation process - preparing and validating input data, supporting optimisation runs, and analysing outputs;
Investigate data and output inconsistencies and support corrective actions before operational delivery;
Support data preparation, validation, and analysis for Operations Research and mathematical optimisation models, including assumptions, constraints, and outputs;
Identify repetitive analytical and reporting activities suitable for automation, and build the solutions to automate them;
Maintain documentation of data sources, transformations, business logic, and KPI definitions;
Translate operational feedback from roster production and crew planning teams into improvements to data, reporting, and optimisation solutions.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, or another quantitative/technical field, or equivalent relevant experience;
Relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a related quantitative role;
Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL;
Solid experience with Power BI, including Power Query, data modelling, and DAX;
Proven experience working with datasets from multiple sources - cleaning, transforming, and validating data;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
Nice to have
Understanding of Linear Programming (LP), Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP/MILP), constraint programming, or network optimisation;
Familiarity with Gurobi, IBM CPLEX, or similar optimisation solvers;
Exposure to optimisation problems such as scheduling, workforce planning, resource allocation, logistics, or transportation;
Exposure to machine learning, forecasting, statistical modelling, or simulation;
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or other cloud/data platforms;
Familiarity with Git/version control;
Experience with Spark for large-scale data ingestion and pipeline work.
