Responsibilities and duties
We are seeking an aviation enthusiast with strong teamwork and leadership skills to join our Operations Control Center (OCC) as a Crew Controller. In this role, you will ensure the safe and efficient crewing of Norse flights, collaborating closely with crew planning, operations control, and other internal and external teams. While no prior experience is required as full training will be provided, relevant experience is an advantage and may lead to a higher salary range.
This exciting opportunity involves working in shifts to support operations 24/7 year-round.
Your main responsibilities and duties:
- Execute short-term crew planning in daily operations, adhering to regulations, crew qualifications, and operational requirements;
- Monitor crew members duty and rest times to ensure compliance;
- Manage crew replacements and adjust duty rosters due to operational disruptions, sickness, or other absences;
- Collaborate with Crew Planning on long-term changes or disruptions;
- Work closely with various departments, including Crew Planning, OCC Control, Ground Control, Flight Operations, Ground Operations, and HR;
- Arrange and oversee crew logistics such as proceedings, transfers, and hotel accommodations;
- Track and adjust training and check flights for crew members;
- Prepare reports for internal and external use;
- Other tasks appointed by Shift Manager, Team Lead or Head of OCC.
Required qualifications, skills and certifications
- Legal right to live and work in Latvia;
- Strong Communication Skills;
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills;
- Organizational and Time Management Skills;
- Technical Proficiency (Familiarity with basic computer tools e.g., MS Office);
- Resilience and Stress Management;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Fluency in spoken and written English;
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Position is located in Riga, Latvia.
Monthly gross salary € 1400 - 1800.
Additional information: Health insurance, additional compensation for working at night and on public holidays.
