We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator who will work alongside the UK People Team. Joining Norse at this early phase means you will be heavily involved in the shaping of the Company’s operational capabilities. As Norse grows and evolves, you can expect to have the opportunity to get involved in different tasks, including more responsibility.
Duties and responsibilities
• Provide support throughout the employee life cycle to the UK People Team
• Manage on-boarding and off-boarding process of all crew
• Monitor probationary periods / Leave of absence / Parental Leaves (Maternity and Paternity)
• Create and send letters to employees in line with people processes
• Upload Letters/appropriate document to employee files
• Manage vacation process for all employees
• Monitor and manage crew inboxes
• Administration of benefits, right to work compliance,
• Recruitment: Preparation for assessment days, managing and partaking in the event on the day
• Write visa, tax, passport letters to enable crew to remain operational
• Be the assigned note taker and/or leading: welfare, investigation, sickness absence, and flexible working meetings
• Arrange pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing as and when required by the business, which may include attending the airport out of hours to facilitate this
• Becoming a key user in our recruitment, people and contract systems, as well as becoming competent on reading the rostering system for crew
• Build strong relationships with all stakeholders
• Develop knowledge of Norse Policies and procedure, whilst maintaining and updating the Companies platform
• Ad-hoc duties as required, which will include assisting with general office management

Required qualifications/ experience to be successful in this role
• Minimum of 2 years experience at a People Administrator/ Coordinator level
• CIPD qualified is desirable
• Aviation experience is desirable
