About the role

Are you tired of traditional Accounts Payable and Treasury roles where every day is the same and new challenges are rare? Here is a unique opportunity to be the Team Lead for our Accounts Payable and Treasury function in our brand-new office in Riga! In this role, you will make direct and great impact on Norse Group’s day-to-day cash management and treasury aspects and play a vital role in managing our supplier and banking relations.

You will be the team leader for our Accounts Payable team and also be responsible for the treasury function. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to further automate our Accounts Payable and treasury functions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead and manage a team of Accounts Payable Accountants
• Responsible for processing supplier payments in a timely manner
• Ownership of Norse’s short-term cashflow forecast
• Responsible for inter-company cash movements within Norse Group
• Improve our processes to more automated solutions
• Liaison with banks and key suppliers

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Advanced user of MS Office and especially Excel
• Experience in different Accounts Payable applications is an advantage
• Experience in bank payment integrations and AP automation is an added advantage
• Very good English communication skills
