Introduction to the role
The main tasks for this role include daily administrative support to Safety Managers and Safety Officers in various departmental safety tasks on behalf of Norse Norway and UK AOC.
As Safety Coordinator, you will be expected to lead with example and be an ambassador for Safety towards all your colleagues.

Responsibilities and duties
Responsibilities and duties for Safety Coordinator include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Daily presentation of safety reports received in safety occurrence tab
- Daily Process of Safety Reports including update of MORs within ECCAIRS platform
- Daily support to Safety Managers and Safety Officers in various departmental safety tasks
- Review and maintain safety department documentation
Required qualifications and certifications
- Knowledge of SMS EASA requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of Safety Management Systems
- Knowledge and understanding of Just Culture principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills and ability to use common office software
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Good MS Word & Office skills. (Excel & PowerPoint required and Power BI not required, but beneficial)
Required experience
- Minimum 1 year experience within Safety Management Systems in Aviation environment
