Norse Atlantic Airways is looking for a Coordinator to support the daily administrative and operational needs of our Ground and Inflight Operations department. We’re looking for someone who is a natural problem solver, able to anticipate potential issues and take proactive steps to prevent them. You love juggling multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. With a clear understanding of how every detail fits into the bigger picture of aviation, you’re also someone who knows what excellent inflight service looks like, and what it takes to make it happen. Most importantly, you’re driven to support our teams with the tools and resources they need to deliver outstanding customer service.
This full-time, office-based role offers the opportunity to collaborate with driven colleagues and gain firsthand insight of a global airline.
Responsibilities and duties:
Logistics:
Coordination of Ground & Inflight logistics for airport materials, cabin presentation provisions, cleaning consumables and inflight catering service equipment hereunder:
- Control station inventories, including stock management, reordering and maintenance;
- Coordinate and implement cabin deep cleaning and disinfection services in accordance with company specifications and schedules;
- Arrange the distribution of provisions and equipment for ACMI and Charter operations.
Operational Reporting:
- Facilitate reporting and maintenance of retail devices for onboard sales;
- Coordinate responses to operational issues and service reports relating to inflight catering, cabin cleaning and presentation.
Documentation:
- Support the design, revision and issuance of Standard Operating Procedures, departmental notices and other documentation.
Requirements:
- Airport or airline operations experience is a must;
- Specifically Ground and Inflight services experience will be an advantage;
- Logistics experience will be an advantage;
- Understanding what excellent inflight service looks like, and what goes into delivering it;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to prioritize changing tasks;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask in a organized and calm manner;
- Fluency in spoken and written English for communication with colleagues and cooperation partners outside of Latvia;
